Billy Wild Goat Kelly

Glasgow, Scotland  born, my parents moved to Bermuda. I was 5. Music became a big part of my life since the early 60’s. Buying my first guitar at 15 in Bermuda at The Bandstand, I entered a world where dreams are made of. Learning a few chords and the basics of course you're ready to start a band. "The Fringe" was formed with Ozzie Carrasquillo (best friend and a Bermuda connection). During that time Bermuda's music scene was going full steam, with night clubs, college weeks, teen dances, bars, hotels and just about anywhere a band could fit. I fell right into it. The lure of doing original music came early and became an obsession. I Spent 14 wonderful years in Bermuda and I still consider Bermuda "Home". Canada fell into the future and a very cold Winnipeg became a place to continue my hot music. Forming "Laughing boy" with Ozzie again the band became very popular and the bar scene was hoppin'. Then it was westward-ho to Kelowna, British Columbia where I purchases a restaurant and of course put a band stage in. "The Fugitives" were born and out again playing wherever "live music" was happening. The dream continues to this day and the future.

"Let your fingers bleed and smell like steel".
