Flookie, a soulful Reggae artist from Bermuda, has toured Europe, North America and performed at Sumfest in Jamaica. Flookie is also a Marine Environmentalist. As the Bermuda Lionfish Project Coordinator he is leading the fight against the Lionfish invasion to the Caribbean and Eastern Atlantic seaboard.
Flookie has opened for a number of renowned Reggae artists such as: The Original Wailers, Gentleman, Yami Bolo, Bunny Wailer, Mutabaruka, Dean Frasier, Lee "Scratch" Perry and Mad Professor.
His first digital release is "Dread In The Inn" which features some of Reggae's, and the worlds, great musicians. Included on the album are: the legendary Leroy "Horsemouth" Wallace on drums, Andrew Campbell on Bass, Lloyd "Obeah" Denton on keyboards, Earl "Chinna" Smith on guitars and Cedric "Congos" Myton performing the harmonies. Dread In The Inn, and subsequent digital release "Don't Leave" which features Flookie & the late great Dennis Brown, was recorded at famed Leggo's Studio in Kingston, Jamaica.
