Selange (Selange Brigitte Gitschner) is a talented Bermudian vocalist. Born in Austria and having lived in 6 countries she has love for many different musical genres and has had the opportunity to perform all over the world. Selange comes from a musical family and has been immersed in music and musical theatre from an early age. She has won numerous regional voice competitions and in 1999 she was selected to sing in the Texas All-State Choir. She studied vocal performance at Texas State University where her classic training has made her mostly known for her soprano solos. After returning home to Bermuda in 2005 she became a member of the Bermuda Chamber Choir but has since branched out and collaborated with a number of local reggae artists.
